The project so far seems to be going well the idea is all mapped out I am using flash cs3 and Device central by adobe to create the final piece. The main application is going to be created in flash lite 2.2 which means that it will only be able to be used on some phones but the main idea of this is a program that can be used with newer model phones. There could be a flash 1.1 version which would allow users to download there files to there mobile but the streaming software is not available within this version. The first thing i have done is to come up with and concept of what the program is going to look like and how it going to be used. I will be looking at the usability issues throughout the project so that the user can get the most out of the program. This may mean that the main software will change throughout the project.
The first concept that was created was as follows;

Video of the Program inuse:
The main issues that came up from this was the text is to small for the mobile screen. I have used the w810i to check the look and feel of the program available. When it was loaded it up it was found that it was illegible and needed the size to be increased. It also meant the list format that was placed on it was too small an unavailable. so this was changed to for boxes with to enter seperate menus. The main thing i dont want to happen is the user to get lost with too many menus. Basically this went on to a redesign to try and gain a better more usable program. I havent concentrated on fancy graphics at this present time as it would take to long to create the program and code it. One of the other issues with this is the back button would not work so the main joystick was the enter button which made it easier to use. The main issue tho is the about button is the main button thats highlighted and i feel that is long winded. The user has to make a move down to the bottom and the up to the top again. This needs to be changed.
